Sonali Bank PLC has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) to facilitate digital collection of various fees and charges, including irrigation charges, fertilizer and seed sales, and contractor or dealer license renewal fees.
The fees will now be processed through the Sonali Payment Gateway, enabling faster and more convenient transactions for BADC clients.
The signing ceremony took place at Sonali Bank’s head office conference room on Wednesday. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank, and Sourendra Nath Saha, Member Director (Finance) of BADC, exchanged documents on behalf of their respective organizations.
Senior officials from both sides, including Sonali Bank’s General Manager Aklima Islam, Deputy General Manager Md. Aminur Rahman Khan, BADC Secretary Md. Aminul Islam, and Controller of Accounts Mohammad Moazzem Hossain, were present at the event.
