Modhumoti Bank PLC signed an MoU with University of Global Village (UGV) on Sunday, 14 September 2025 at the University Campus located at Barishal, according to a press release.
In the presence of Mr. Md. ShafiulAzam, Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director; of Modhumoti Bank, and Dr. Md. Imran Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the UGV, Mr. Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer of Modhumoti Bank and Professor Dr. Abdul Baqee, Vice-Chancellor of the UGV, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under this agreement, Faculty Members and other employees of the University will enjoy the convenience of withdrawing their salaries and accessing exclusive facilities such as credit cards and personal loans through Modhumoti Payroll Banking, available at the Barishal Branch as well as across all branches and agent banking outlets of Modhumoti Bank.
In addition, customers will benefit from the installation of a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) and a dedicated collection booth on its campus, alongside cutting-edge digital banking solutions, including the Modhumoti Go-Smart App and Corporate Internet Banking services.
