Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has provided Tk 5 lakh in financial assistance to a cancer patient in Narail as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The support was given to Md Shamsur Rahman, a resident of Afra village in Narail, on September 20.
K. M. Harunur Rashid, Head of Public Relations Department & Bank Foundation of the bank, handed over the cheque. Senior officials, including Md Ibrahim Hossen, SAVP of the Corporate Head Office, and Md Kamal Mia, Executive Officer of the Bank Foundation, were also present at the occasion.
