Al-Arafah Islami Bank has launched a three-day training workshop on “Investment Management” at its training institute in Dhaka, with 50 investment officers from different branches taking part.
The programme was inaugurated on Tuesday by the bank’s Managing Director (Current Charge), Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, who highlighted the importance of selecting quality investments, ensuring effective monitoring, and recovering overdue loans.
“Our bank’s reputation is well recognised across the country. To preserve this goodwill, we must provide specialised services for sustainable growth. For that, our officials must continuously learn, train, and apply their knowledge in practice,” he said.
The workshop is being presided over by Md Abdur Rahim Duary, Principal of the Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI). Senior Vice President Touhid Siddique and other senior officials also attended the opening session.
The training aims to sharpen professional skills, enhance risk management, improve customer service, and contribute to sustainable business growth in line with Shariah principles, according to the bank.
