The state-owned Rupali Bank PLC held a business review meeting for August 2025 with the participation of branch managers under its Sylhet Divisional Office. The meeting took place on Wednesday (October 8) at the conference room of BRAC Learning Centre, Sylhet.
Kazi Md. Wahidul Islam, Managing Director of the bank, attended the event as the chief guest. During his speech, he gave directives to concerned officials on various issues, including recovery of classified and written-off loans, collection of low-cost and no-cost deposits, opening of new accounts, distribution of CMSME loans, expanding technology-based banking services to customers, and achieving profit targets.
Deputy Managing Director Hasan Tanvir and Deputy General Manager (Recovery Department) Md. Mahmudul Islam were present as special guests.
The meeting was chaired by Kamal Bhattacharjee, General Manager and Head of Sylhet Division.
Also present were Deputy General Managers Md. Fazlul Haque, Joya Chowdhury, Bipul Kumar Talukder, Mohammad Ashraf Hossain, and Masuk-e-Elahi, along with executives of corporate branches and all branch managers under the Sylhet Division.
