During the recent meeting, ICC Bangladesh’s Banking Commission reviewed the secretariat’s activities for 2025 and finalized its Plan of Action for 2026. The plan includes workshops for bankers, MSMEs, and women entrepreneurs, along with seminars and roundtable discussions on key financial issues.
It was also decided to increase commission meetings to address topics such as the impact of LDC graduation, digitalization of international trade, cybersecurity, and other critical areas for the development of Bangladesh’s banking sector.
The meeting was chaired by Muhammad A. (Rumee) Ali, Chairman of the ICC Bangladesh Banking Commission, and attended by senior representatives from the Bangladesh Bank, commercial banks, financial institutions, and academia.
