The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will hold a Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS) on November 12, 2025, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in Dhaka.

Organized with support from the Economic Relations Division (ERD) and in collaboration with relevant government agencies, the event will showcase key ongoing and upcoming business opportunities under ADB-financed projects and private sector operations in Bangladesh.

The World Bank will also join the seminar to present its portfolio and highlight potential areas for collaboration.

A wide range of participants—including contractors, suppliers, consultants, NGOs, private enterprises, and business association leaders from home and abroad—are expected to attend. Officials from government bodies and diplomatic missions will also be present.

The seminar will feature an extensive lineup of resource speakers from ADB, the World Bank, and the Government of Bangladesh, including Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Hoe Yun Jeong, Country Director of ADB’s Bangladesh Resident Mission; Jean Pesme, Division Director for Bangladesh and Bhutan, World Bank; and S M Jakaria Huq, Additional Secretary and ADB Wing Chief at the ERD.

The BOS aims to strengthen partnerships, encourage private sector participation, and expand access to procurement and investment opportunities under ADB-supported projects across Bangladesh.
