Govt Deploys Mobile Courts to Monitor Fuel Supply

293 mobile courts launched nationwide to prevent irregularities

The government has deployed 293 mobile courts across 62 districts to monitor the fuel supply and curb irregularities in distribution and sales.

During the operations so far, 78 cases have been filed, and fines totaling Tk 315,550 have been imposed, according to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.

Executive magistrates are also conducting daily mobile court drives at various locations across Dhaka, with operations set to continue in the capital and surrounding areas.

Authorities have urged the public to report any suspected fuel irregularities through designated vigilance hotline numbers, as the nationwide campaign continues to ensure stable fuel availability.
