NRBC Bank celebrated Bangla New Year 1433 on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh with colourful and festive programs across the country.
The celebrations were held at the bank’s head office as well as at all its branches and sub-branches nationwide on Wednesday (15 April 2026), according to a press release.
The event was attended by the bank’s Managing Director and CEO Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, FCMA, Deputy Managing Director & COO, Mohammad Abdul Qaium Khan; Head of Credit Management Division & SEVP Mr. Tanushree Mitra, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) & SEVP Mr. Faisal Ahmed, Head of Human Resources Training and Development Center (HRTDC) & SEVP Mrs. Fahmida Chowdhury; along with other senior officials and employees at all levels.
Organised under the slogan “Let the colours of festivity touch and open the doors of future possibilities,” the celebration featured traditional decorations, a variety of pith as and traditional foods, and cultural performances.
Bank officials, employees, and valued clients actively participated in the ceremony, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.
In his speech, Managing Director Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, FCMA, stated that the Bangla New Year symbolises the spirit of secularism, heritage, and cultural identity. He emphasised that such celebrations play an important role in promoting harmony and spreading joy among people by embracing Bengali culture and traditions.
He further noted that events like these strengthen the bond between the bank family and its customers, fostering a relationship built on trust and sincerity, which is essential for developing a secure banking structure.
