On August 2, 2025, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organized its “Half-Yearly Business Conference 2025” at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden Hotel in the capital. The event was presided over by the bank’s Managing Director, Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed.
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. A.K. Azad, was present as the chief guest at the conference. Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mohammad Yunus, and Independent Directors Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Mr. Md. Riazul Karim attended as special guests and delivered speeches.
Also present were Additional Managing Director Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed and Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Rashed Sarwar and Mr. M.M. Saiful Islam. The bank’s Company Secretary, Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, served as the moderator of the event.
Chief Financial Officer Mr. Md. Zafar Sadeq, FCA, presented an overview of the bank’s business performance for the first six months of 2025. Heads of various divisions from the bank’s corporate head office, along with managers of all branches and sub-branches, participated in the conference.
The discussion focused on evaluating the business targets achieved in the first half of the year and reviewing the bank’s overall progress. Guidance was also provided for achieving the business goals set for the remaining months of the year.
