IFIC Bank PLC celebrated the first anniversary of its current Board of Directors by hosting a special Town Hall Meeting titled “One Year in the Journey of Transformation” on Saturday at its head office in Dhaka.
The event, held at the bank’s Multipurpose Hall, brought together board members, senior management, and employees from across the country, with many joining virtually.
Chairman Md. Mehmood Husain attended as Chief Guest, alongside board members Md. Ebtadul Islam, Kazi Md. Mahboob Kasem, FCA, and Md. Golam Mostofa. Managing Director Syed Mansur Mustafa, deputy managing directors, divisional heads, and branch managers were also present.
A presentation reviewed the bank’s achievements over the past year and outlined strategies for sustainable growth. Mustafa underscored priorities such as recovering non-performing loans, expanding business, and developing human resources, calling for teamwork to meet the bank’s goals.
Board members offered guidance on strengthening corporate governance and fulfilling social and national responsibilities. Husain praised the management and staff for their dedication during the bank’s transformation journey.
The meeting featured an interactive segment, “My IFIC, My Dream,” where employees shared ideas and experiences, followed by a Q&A session that encouraged open dialogue across all levels of the organisation.
