The Khulna Divisional Half-Yearly Branch Managers’ Conference 2025 of Janata Bank PLC was held on Sunday, October 12, at a local conference center.
The bank’s Chairman, Md Fazlur Rahman, attended the event as the chief guest, while Managing Director Md Mozibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director Md Golam Mortuza were present as special guests.
The conference was presided over by Abul Kalam Azad, General Manager (In-Charge) of the Khulna Divisional Office. Among others, Company Secretary Md Abdul Alim Khan, Deputy General Manager (Business Development and Marketing) Mohammad Riaz Hossain Ferdous, and Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Khalilur Rahman were also present.
The meeting reviewed the business performance of 90 branches, including six area offices and two corporate branches, under the Khulna Divisional Office up to September 2025.
During the event, the Managing Director gave necessary directives to area heads and branch managers. He emphasized mobilizing low-cost deposits, increasing deposit accounts, expanding CMSME lending, and accelerating the recovery of default loans.
