Janata Bank PLC has introduced the GreenPIN service for its cardholders. The initiative was officially inaugurated on Sunday, 21 September, at the bank’s head office by Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman. Managing Director Md Mozibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors Md Golam Mortuza, Md Fayez Alam, Md Nazrul Islam, Md Ashraful Alam, General Manager Mohammad Anis, along with other senior executives and officials, were present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman said Janata Bank has been accelerating its green banking activities. As part of this initiative, the GreenPIN service has been launched to ensure improved customer service for card users, while further strengthening card data security.

Managing Director Md Mozibur Rahman noted that through this unique service, debit and credit card customers of Janata Bank will now be able to activate their cards, instantly generate a PIN, or change their PIN from the comfort of their homes—making the process safer and more convenient.
