Karmasangsthan Bank holds Customer Gathering and Public Hearing in Sunamganj

The Sunamganj Branch of Karmasangsthan Bank organized a Customer Gathering and Public Hearing on September 8, 2025, at the Shaheed Muktijoddha Jagatjyoti Public Library, with participation from local customers and stakeholders.

Dr. A.F.M. Matiur Rahman, Former Secretary and Chairman of Karmasangsthan Bank’s Board of Directors, attended as the Chief Guest. Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank, and Dr. Mohammad Elias Mia, Deputy Commissioner of Sunamganj, were present as Special Guests.

The event was presided over by Md. Amirul Islam, General Manager of the Audit Department. Other senior officials from the bank, including Md. Aktar Hossain Pradhan, Monoj Roy, Md. Momtaz Uddin, and Md. Iqbal Hossain, also attended.

In his speech, the Chief Guest highlighted Sunamganj’s potential in agriculture, fisheries, haor-based products, and tourism, encouraging entrepreneurs to utilize bank loans to achieve self-reliance. The Managing Director emphasized the importance of providing the right amount of credit to the right person to promote productive economic activities, stressing the bank’s commitment to financing entrepreneurs and supporting underdeveloped areas.

The Deputy Commissioner praised Karmasangsthan Bank for its role in reducing unemployment through financial inclusion and noted opportunities for investment in sectors such as leather, solar panels, and jewelry.

Participants shared their opinions and suggestions with the bank officials and expressed satisfaction with the services provided.
