The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been reduced for the month of July. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has set the new retail price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder at BDT 1,364, down BDT 39 from the previous rate of BDT 1,403.
The announcement was made on Wednesday (July 2) by BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed. The revised price takes effect from this evening.
The price adjustment follows global market trends and changes in Saudi Aramco’s contract price (CP), which BERC uses as a benchmark for monthly price setting in the local market.
