Modhumoti Bank PLC organized a workshop on “Islamic Banking Fundamentals: Concept & Operational Methodology of Islamic Banking” at its head office in Gulshan on August 23.
The session, conducted by Md. Abdul Awwal Sarker, Director of Janata Bank and former Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, focused on the principles and operating practices of Shariah-compliant banking.
Managing Director and CEO Md. Shafiul Azam attended the program as chief guest, while Additional Managing Director Shahnawaj Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer Arab Fazlur Rahman were present as special guests.
Senior management members, divisional heads, executives, and branch managers of the bank participated in the day-long workshop, which concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
