NRBC Bank PLC has announced job openings for two positions of Core Banking Specialist, offering opportunities from Junior Officer to Principal Officer ranks. The posts will be based at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, CSE, IT, or related fields, with no third division in their academic record. Applicants should bring 1 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking or working with banking software vendors.
The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations of the core banking system (CBS), troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating upgrades and new module rollouts, and ensuring smooth integration with services such as mobile and internet banking, ATM, RTGS, NPSB, and API platforms. Specialists will also prepare system documentation, manage audits, and monitor end-of-day and beginning-of-day processes.
A strong understanding of general banking, treasury, deposits, loans, and clearing systems like BACH, BEFTN, and RTGS is essential. Proficiency in PL/SQL and experience in managing security policies, backups, and recovery procedures will be required.
