NRBC Bank PLC has been honoured with the prestigious “Excellence in Visa Debit Cards Business Associate Client – 2025” award, recognizing its outstanding performance in the digital banking sector.
The award was presented to Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, FCMA, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank, by Arief Hossain Khan, Executive Director of the Payment Systems Department and Spokesperson of Bangladesh Bank, during the Visa Leadership Conclave held at Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka.
Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur attended the event as Chief Guest and commended key contributors to the country’s rapidly growing digital payments landscape.
Also present were Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager of Visa for Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal; Kazi Md. Safayet Kabir, Head of Retail Business and Financial Inclusion Division at NRBC Bank; along with senior officials from other leading financial institutions.
The award underscores NRBC Bank’s commitment to innovation and excellence in digital financial services. On this occasion, Dr. Touhidul Alam Khan announced the bank’s upcoming plans to expand its credit card services, targeting CMSME and microfinance customers nationwide, to further advance financial inclusion.
