Shahjalal Islami Bank extends medical aid in Sylhet

CSR initiative supports surgery costs for local resident

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has provided financial assistance to Mst. Fahmida Akter of Sylhet under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The support will help cover surgery expenses for her leg bones, which require urgent treatment.

The cheque was handed over on September 8 at the bank’s Subidbazar Branch by A.K. Reza Ahmed Chowdhury, SAVP and branch manager. Senior officials, including Reza Nurtaz Jaman, Junior Executive Officer, and Ariful Islam, Senior Officer, were also present at the handover.

The initiative reflects the bank’s continued commitment to supporting underprivileged individuals through healthcare-focused CSR activities.
