Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIB PLC) held its 904th Executive Committee (EC) meeting on 8 October 2025 at the bank’s corporate head office in Dhaka.

The meeting was chaired by Akkas Uddin Mollah, Chairman of the Executive Committee, where members discussed and approved various proposals related to investment in different sectors, according to a press release.

Among those present were Vice-Chairman Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Directors and EC members Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, and Mohammed Younus. Director Khandaker Shakib Ahmed also attended the meeting as a special invitee.

Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Company Secretary Md. Abul Bashar were also in attendance.

The committee emphasized the bank’s continued focus on sustainable investment and prudent financial management to strengthen its overall performance.
