Sonali Life Insurance, a fourth-generation Bangladeshi life insurer, has signed a bilateral agreement with telemedicine provider Milvik Bangladesh to enhance customer services.

The signing ceremony took place on Monday (15 September) at Sonali Life’s head office in Dhaka.
Acting CEO Rafiqul Islam of Sonali Life and Milvik Bangladesh Country Manager Md Shihab Uddin signed the deal on behalf of their organisations.

Sonali Life Director Sheikh Mohammad Daniel, COO Mohammad Manjur Morshed, CIO Hasib Reza, AMD Emdadul Haque Sahil, and Milvik executives Riaz Mostafa and Israt Mostafa, among others, attended the event.

Under the agreement, Sonali Life’s customers and employees will gain access to Milvik Bangladesh’s telemedicine services. Milvik’s digital platform will also enable quicker, easier delivery of Sonali Life’s insurance plans.

“This initiative is aimed at offering customer-centric services,” said Rafiqul Islam. “With telemedicine onboard, clients can conveniently access healthcare and insurance benefits together — a significant step in Sonali Life’s digital transformation.”

Calling the partnership “highly meaningful,” Milvik’s Shihab Uddin said it would allow customers not only to receive quality healthcare but also to enjoy faster and more reliable insurance services through a digital platform.
