Standard Bank PLC, a Shari`ah-based bank, held its 416th Board Meeting on August 31, 2025, at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by Chairman Mohammed Abdul Aziz and attended by Vice Chairman A K M Abdul Alim, Directors Ashok Kumar Saha, S.A.M. Hossain, Al-haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Md Zahedul Hoque, Ferdous Ali Khan, Ashit Kumar Saha, Jhahedul Alam, and Independent Director Golam Hafiz Ahmed.

Managing Director Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman, and Company Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman, FCS, were also present.

The meeting provided a platform for the board to discuss key corporate and operational matters, reinforcing governance and strategic oversight.
