The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw a strong start today (7 July), with its benchmark index DSEX soaring 1.14% within the first hour of trading.
By 10:46 AM, DSEX gained 56 points, reaching 4,950—the highest level since early May.
The blue-chip DS30 index also advanced, rising 53 points to close at 1,853.
Among the traded stocks, 259 recorded gains, 48 experienced declines, and 70 remained steady.
