United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has organised a Hajj Agency Conference in Sylhet to strengthen cooperation with Hajj agencies and improve services for pilgrims.

The event, held at a local hotel, was attended by UCB Additional Managing Director Abul Alam Ferdous as the chief guest. In his address, he said UCB is committed to providing innovative financial solutions and ensuring convenient services tailored to the needs of Hajj pilgrims.

Leaders of the Sylhet Zonal Committee of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), including Chairman Mohammad Abdul Hoque and Secretary Mohammad Abdul Kadir, also joined the conference alongside senior officials from both UCB and HAAB.

With the participation of leading Hajj agencies and UCB representatives, the conference served as a platform to strengthen collaboration. Participants expressed hope that such initiatives would help ensure safer, more efficient, and higher-quality services for future pilgrims.
