United Finance PLC has received the Corporate Award in the Financing Category at an international conference on “The Future of Business: Innovation, Technology and Sustainability,” hosted by the Bureau of Business Research, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Chittagong.
Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin presented the award to Mohammed Abul Ahsan, Deputy Managing Director of United Finance, during the event’s closing ceremony in Chattogram, according to a media release.
Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter, Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University, along with Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, Chairman of Sonali Bank PLC, and Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shamim Uddin Khan (Academic) and Prof. Md. Kamal Uddin (Administration).
The two-day gathering brought together academics and industry leaders from home and abroad to discuss business innovation, technology adoption and sustainable growth.
Expressing gratitude, Ahsan said: “We are deeply honoured by this recognition. For more than three decades, United Finance has been committed to responsible financing—creating jobs, reducing environmental impact and supporting entrepreneurs to drive inclusive growth.”
Other companies honoured at the event included Abul Khair Consumer Products Ltd, A.K. Khan & Co. Ltd, BSRM Steels, ISPAHANI, Dainik Purbokone, Rancon FC Properties, and Robi Axiata PLC.
