DBH Finance PLC held the 8th meeting of its Shariah Supervisory Committee at the corporate head office in Dhaka, with Islamic scholar Dr. Muhammad Saifullah presiding over the session.
The meeting began with a recitation from the Holy Quran and discussed key issues related to Shariah compliance in DBH’s Islamic Financing Wing (IFW). Committee members Md. Fariduddin Ahmed and Dr. Zubair Mohammad Ehsanul Hoque, CSAA, also attended.
From DBH, Managing Director & CEO Nasimul Baten, Head of Islamic Financing Division Tanvir Ahmad, CFO Md. Abdul Ahad, and other senior officials were present.
The committee expressed satisfaction with the bank’s strict adherence to Shariah rules and thanked management for its continued commitment to Islamic finance practices.
The session ended with Dua and Munajat, seeking prosperity for DBH Islamic, which currently offers home financing and Mudaraba deposit services through its 16 branches across all divisional headquarters.
