IFIC Bank PLC held its 48th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in a hybrid format, with the physical session hosted at the Army Golf Club in Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman and Independent Director Md. Mehmood Husain. Also present were senior board members, including the Managing Director Syed Mansur Mustafa, committee chairpersons, and shareholders, while Director Md. Monzorul Haque joined virtually.
Addressing the shareholders, Mr. Husain highlighted the bank’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and strategic reforms. “The Board and Management are working tirelessly to protect shareholders’ interests and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards irregularities and corruption,” he said, assuring that key financial indicators are expected to improve in the coming year.
Managing Director Syed Mansur Mustafa added that IFIC Bank is taking concrete steps to strengthen governance, enhance operational efficiency, and safeguard the interests of shareholders, employees, and depositors. He expressed confidence that the bank will achieve greater stability and growth in the near future.
During the meeting, shareholders approved the financial statements for 2024 and confirmed the appointment of auditors, completing the scheduled agenda.
