Barishal Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a Business Development Conference on 20 September 2025 at the Barishal Branch premises, according to a press release.

Professor Dr. M. Zubaidur Rahman, chairman of the bank, addressed the conference as the chief guest. Md. Omar Faruk Khan, managing director of the bank, presided over the conference while Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, chairman of the executive committee and Md. Abdul Jalil, independent director, addressed the conference as a special guest.

Md. Saroar Hossain, head of Barishal Zone, addressed the welcome speech. The heads of branches under the zone, senior executives and officials attended the conference.
