Shahjalal Islami Bank Moves Centralized Trade Services to New Gulshan Hub

New location aims to enhance import-export services and customer experience

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has shifted its Centralized Trade Services Division (CTSD), Gulshan Hub, Dhaka, to a newly furnished, spacious facility at Devotech Technology Park Limited, Holding No. 11, Road No. 113/A, Gulshan from 5 October 2025. The move is part of the bank’s strategy to centrally manage import and export trade while providing risk-free and efficient services to its clients.

The Managing Director, Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, inaugurated the new division on 6 October 2025, with Additional Managing Director Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed and Deputy Managing Director Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam attending as special guests. The ceremony was presided over by Galib Mahmood, Vice President & Head of CTSD, while K. M. Harunur Rashid, Head of Public Relations and Bank Foundation, moderated the event.

Senior officials, including SEVP & Head of Internal Control and Compliance Division Mohammed Ashfaqul Hoque, FCA, FCS, CFO Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA, division heads from the corporate office, branch managers, and clients were also present.

A special prayer marked the inauguration, wishing prosperity and success for the bank’s operations at its new Gulshan Hub. The relocation is expected to improve workflow efficiency, enhance customer experience, and strengthen the bank’s trade services in Dhaka.
