Mercantile Bank PLC has signed an agreement with ShareTrip Limited to offer special benefits for its credit card holders. The signing took place on 17 August 2025 at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.
Under the deal, Mercantile Bank credit card users will be able to enjoy a 0% EMI facility ranging from 3 to 24 months on purchases of any services from ShareTrip, one of the country’s leading online travel platforms.
Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and CBO of Mercantile Bank, and Shibly Sadiq, Chief Sales Officer of ShareTrip, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
Senior officials from both sides, including Mostafizur Rahman, Head of Card & ADC, Mohammad Faruque Ahmmed, Head of Corporate Banking Division, and Arup Ratan Barua, Chief Finance Officer of ShareTrip, were also present at the ceremony.
