In the fiscal year 2024–25, state-owned Rupali Bank PLC achieved eighth position across the entire banking sector in remittance collection. On the occasion of International Migrants Day and Expatriates’ Day 2025, at a ceremony held on Wednesday (17.12.2025) at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, the Adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, Dr Asif Nazrul, handed over the Remittance Award to Rupali Bank’s Managing Director, Kazi Md Wahidul Islam.

This achievement of the bank reflects effective governance, modern and easily accessible remittance services, and the bank’s continued trust among expatriate customers.
