Pubali Bank PLC has inaugurated its Green Road Islamic Banking Sub-Branch at Panthapath in Dhaka, reinforcing its commitment to expanding Sharia-based financial services.

The sub-branch was formally opened by the bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Mohammad Ali, as the chief guest. Deputy Managing Director Md. Shahnewaz Khan attended as the special guest, while Islamic Banking Wing Head and General Manager Dewan Jamil Masud, Company Secretary and General Manager Md. Anisur Rahman, and other senior executives were also present.

Local businessmen, customers, and community members joined the event.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mohammad Ali said Pubali Bank is dedicated to offering modern banking services in line with Islamic principles. He noted that the demand for Islamic banking is growing across the country and highlighted that the bank has already established Islamic Banking Corners in most of its branches and sub-branches.

He added that Pubali Bank aims to set a benchmark in Islamic banking by extending such sub-branches to every region nationwide.
