Dhaka Bank has announced a 10 per cent cash dividend for 2025 after posting a sharp rise in profit, with consolidated net earnings jumping 119 per cent year-on-year.
According to a price-sensitive disclosure filed with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on April 29, the bank’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk 2.65 for the year ended December 31, 2025, up from Tk 1.21 a year earlier.
The strong profit growth reflects a significant improvement in the lender’s overall financial performance during the year.
To approve the audited financial statements and dividend proposal, the bank will hold its annual general meeting on June 25.
The record date for determining shareholders eligible for the dividend has been fixed for May 18.
