Dhaka Bank PLC organized a Financial Literacy and Career Counselling Program for Youth on October 26, 2025, at Lalmatia Government Mohila College in Dhaka, aiming to empower female students with practical knowledge on money management and career building.
The interactive session was led by Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank, who discussed financial discipline, saving habits, and early career planning. Students actively participated, sharing their thoughts on how to build a secure financial future.
Professor Jahanara Zaman, Principal of the college, presided over the program and lauded Dhaka Bank’s initiative to enhance financial awareness among young women.
Senior officials from Dhaka Bank, including H. M. Mostafizur Rahman, SEVP & Head of Retail Business Division; Md. Shofiur Rahman, SVP of Human Resources; and Mohammad Riad Hasan, SVP & Manager of Dhanmondi Model Branch, attended the event.
Following the session, a Student Banking Booth was inaugurated on the campus, offering instant digital account opening and introducing youth-focused banking services designed to help students manage their finances efficiently.
The program’s objective was to build financial confidence and career readiness among students, encouraging them to become responsible, financially literate leaders of the future.
