Gold prices in Bangladesh have rebounded after seven consecutive reductions, with 22-carat gold now priced at Tk 237,012 per bhori (11.664 grams) from Saturday, according to the Bangladesh Jewellers Association.
The increase follows a rise in local pure gold (tejabi gold) rates and reflects overall market conditions. Under the revised rates, 21-carat gold is Tk 226,282 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Tk 193,914, and traditional-method gold at Tk 157,931 per bhori.
The last adjustment on March 27 had lowered 22-carat gold by Tk 6,590 to Tk 234,855, marking a seven-week decline before the current uptick.
