Guardian Life Insurance Limited has launched a redesigned mobile application, aiming to transform how customers interact with insurance services.

Available on both Android and iOS, the revamped Guardian Life app combines intuitive design with enhanced functionality to deliver a seamless digital experience, the company said in a press release.

The platform, developed after months of research and technological innovation, caters to both long-standing policyholders and new users. It serves as a one-stop solution for buying insurance, accessing health services and managing policies.

“We have been working tirelessly to enhance the digital experience across all platforms,” said Sheikh Rakibul Karim, additional managing director and acting CEO of Guardian Life Insurance Limited. “The new app, guided by a data-driven approach, has been developed to enrich user engagement and marks an important step in the digital transformation we envisage for the insurance sector.”

Users can register with just a phone number or email, without needing an existing policy. Digital products such as Guardian Accidental Care and Guardian Cancer Care can now be purchased entirely online. A built-in smart advisor helps suggest tailored policy options for those seeking long-term protection.

The app also introduces cashless IPD (in-patient department) service requests, reducing the need for upfront payments during medical emergencies.

Beyond insurance, the platform integrates healthcare features including telemedicine consultations, doctor appointments, medicine delivery, ambulance requests and home sample collection.
