A day-long Intern Job Fair, organised by leading job portal Bdjobs.com, began at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in Dhaka’s Farmgate on Friday, offering around 2,500 paid internship opportunities for fresh graduates.

More than 100 local and multinational companies are taking part in the fair, which aims to help young jobseekers gain professional experience and ease their transition into the corporate workforce.

Organisers expect more than 25,000 recent graduates to visit the event by the end of the day.

Bdjobs introduced the specialised fair two years ago in response to the challenges many graduates face in securing entry-level jobs without prior work experience.

A key attraction of the event is a “Test Interview” segment, where senior human resources professionals from leading companies are conducting mock interviews and offering practical career guidance to help participants build confidence and improve their interview skills.

The fair was inaugurated in the morning at a ceremony presided over by Bdjobs.com Founder and Chief Executive Officer Fahim Mashroor.
