Islami Bank, Dhaka Commerce College Sign Fee Payment Agreement

Students to enjoy digital and branch-based payment facilities

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a corporate agreement with Dhaka Commerce College, enabling students to pay all types of academic fees through the bank’s branches, sub-branches, agent outlets, as well as its Cellfin app and mCash platform, the bank said in a press release.

The signing program was held on 26 August 2025, where Islami Bank’s Managing Director Md. Omar Faruk Khan attended as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Md. Abu Masud, Principal of Dhaka Commerce College, presided over the event.

Among the special guests were Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Alam, Member of the Governing Body and Professor at the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka; Professor Dr. Kazi Fayz Ahamed, Vice Principal (Academic); and Professor Abu Nayeem Md. Mozammel Hossain, Vice Principal (Administration).

Also present were Md. Maznuzzaman, Head of Business Promotion and Marketing Division, and Md. Anisur Rahman, Head of Mirpur Branch of Islami Bank, along with senior officials from both institutions.
