Modhumoti Bank PLC has been continuously expanding its banking footprint through branches, sub-branches, and agent banking points, with a vision to extend its services further and gradually bring underserved communities under the umbrella of financial inclusion.
As part of this ongoing initiative, Modhumoti Bank inaugurated its “Kuriana BazarAgent Point” under the control of the Modhumoti Barishal Branch, located at the Kuriana Bazar, Nesarabad, Pirojpur on Tuesday, 09 June 2026, according to a press release.
In a virtual inauguration ceremony, Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, inaugurated the agent point as the Chief Guest.
At the same time, Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director, was virtually present as a Special Guest of the event.
Moreover, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, SEVP & Head of Human Resources Division; Shaikh Mohammed Shoieb, EVP & Head of Operations Division; R.M. The inauguration of this new Agent Outlet is expected to make modern banking services more accessible to the people of Kuriana Bazar and nearby area.
