National Bank PLC organized a “Managers’ Meet” in Rajshahi on 17 September 2025, bringing together 28 branch managers from across the region to review performance and set strategies for future growth.

The program was attended by Mr. Adil Chowdhury, Managing Director, as Chief Guest, along with Mr. Md. Meshkat-Ul-Anwar Khan, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), senior officials, and regional managers, according to a media release.

Discussions focused on deposit mobilization, loan recovery, import business expansion, and strengthening sales and marketing to ensure sustainable growth.

In his address, Mr. Chowdhury inspired managers with lessons on resilience and accountability, emphasizing four guiding pillars: develop the mind, be honest and open, stay positive, and recognize that every branch decision shapes the bank’s future.

“Time is our greatest challenge. With honesty, professionalism, and focus on quality business, we can make National Bank one of the top five banks in Bangladesh,” said Mr. Chowdhury.

The meeting concluded with a renewed pledge to strengthen customer trust, accelerate business growth, and position National Bank PLC as a stronger and more competitive institution.
