The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for companies to file their income tax returns by one month, giving businesses additional time to complete the process.
Under the revised schedule, corporate taxpayers will now be able to submit their returns until April 15 for the 2025–26 tax year, according to an NBR notification issued on Sunday.
The previous deadline was set to expire on March 15.
The extension follows formal requests from various business groups that sought more time to prepare and submit their mandatory tax filings. The revenue authority approved the request, allowing companies an extra month to comply with the filing requirement.
