NCC Bank has organised a four-day training programme on “Leadership Development and Team Building” at its Learning and Development Centre, aimed at preparing officers for future leadership roles, the bank said in a press release.

Md. Nurun Newaz Salim, Chairman of NCC Bank, inaugurated the programme as the chief guest. He was joined by M. Shamsul Arefin, Managing Director; M. Khurshed Alam, Additional Managing Director; Rishad Hossain, Head of Human Resources Division; and Md. Abdur Rahim, Consultant of the Learning and Development Centre.

A total of 37 officers selected for future leadership responsibilities participated in the training.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Salim stressed that in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven banking environment, bankers must go beyond technical knowledge and cultivate qualities such as innovation, diligence, and ethical conduct. He urged participants to focus on honesty, dedication, hard work, and responsibility to prepare themselves as future leaders in the industry.

Managing Director Arefin highlighted that true success in banking requires the ability to adapt to real-world challenges and to deliver customer satisfaction beyond procedural efficiency. “This training is designed not just to teach rules and procedures but to instill sincerity, accountability, and the qualities needed to become true ‘Service Leaders,’” he said.
