A divisional business review meeting of the branches under the Sylhet Divisional Office of state-owned Rupali Bank PLC was held with the participation of branch managers, based on business performance as of 30 June 2026.
The meeting was held on Saturday (11 July 2026) at the conference hall of Grand Mostafa Hotel in Sylhet. The Managing Director of the bank, Kazi Md. Wahidul Islam, attended the meeting as the chief guest. After reviewing the bank’s overall business activities, he provided necessary directives to the concerned officials on deposit mobilization, loan disbursement and recovery, reduction of non-performing loans, foreign remittance collection, profit growth, improvement of customer service, and achievement of the stipulated business targets.
The General Manager of the bank’s Head Office, Md. Moin Uddin Masud, attended the meeting as the special guest.
The meeting was chaired by the Divisional Head and General Manager of the Sylhet Divisional Office, Kamal Bhattacharjee.
Among others present were the bank’s Deputy General Managers Md. Fazlul Haque, Joya Chowdhury, Biplab Kumar Talukdar, Mohammad Ashraf Hossain, Masuk-e-Elahi, and Mohammad Azgar Hossain, along with executives of the corporate branch and managers of all branches and sub-branches under the Sylhet Division.
