Rupali Bank PLC has launched a two-week-long programme titled ‘Customer Service Fortnight’ as part of the Youth Festival 2025 celebrations under the directive of the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance.
The programme was inaugurated on Sunday (October 19) at the bank’s head office in Dilkusha, Dhaka. Additional Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division Md Ahsan Kabir formally announced the nationwide launch of the campaign, which will continue until November 2, 2025.
In his inaugural speech, Ahsan Kabir said the young generation must be nurtured with a blend of intellect and integrity to build a better Bangladesh.
Rupali Bank Managing Director Kazi Md Wahidul Islam said the bank has been working tirelessly to maintain customer satisfaction throughout the year.
As part of the opening ceremony, the bank disbursed agricultural loans to 18 young entrepreneurs — eight from the Naogaon Niamatpur branch in Rajshahi and ten from the Mahiganj branch in Rangpur.
Throughout the fortnight, all 586 branches and 36 sub-branches of Rupali Bank will display banners and set up ‘Reception and Information Desks’ to provide improved customer service. Bank officials will also interact directly with clients to receive complaints and suggestions, which will be addressed promptly.
Deputy Managing Directors Parsuma Alam, Hasan Tanvir, and Md Harnur Rashid attended the event along with senior officials. The programme was conducted by General Manager Mohammad Safayet Hossain, while other senior executives, including Mohammad Shahedur Rahman, Mohammad Shahjahan Chowdhury, Md Ismail Hossain Sheikh, Salamun Nesha, Md Moin Uddin Masud, and Abu Naser Mohammad Masud, were also present.
General managers from divisional and zonal offices, department heads, and branch managers joined the event virtually.
