Trade operations at Sonamasjid Land Port resumed on Saturday after a 10-day suspension for Eid-ul-Fitr and Independence Day.
Import and export activities had remained closed from March 18 to March 27, according to port insiders.
With operations restarting, trucks carrying goods from India began entering the port from Saturday, restoring cross-border trade flow.
Passenger movement, however, remained normal throughout the تعطيل period, with travel continuing for those holding valid passports.
The resumption is expected to ease supply chains and speed up clearance of pending shipments at the busy land port.
