Walton Declares 175pc Cash, 10pc Stock Dividend

Record date set for September 28; AGM on October 28

Walton Hi-Tech Industries has recommended a 175 per cent cash dividend alongside a 10 per cent stock dividend for the financial year ending June 30, 2025.

The declaration will be placed for final approval at the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled for October 28 at 11:00 am, to be held on a digital platform, according to a disclosure posted on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) website on Thursday. The record date has been fixed for September 28.

The electronics giant also reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 34.22, net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 399.74 with revaluation and Tk 288.29 without revaluation, and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 58.20 for FY2024-25.

In comparison, the company posted EPS of Tk 44.78, NAV per share of Tk 379.30 (with revaluation) and Tk 277.86 (without revaluation), and NOCFPS of Tk 56.96 in the previous year.

In 2024, Walton disbursed a 350 per cent cash dividend to its general shareholders.

Trading of Walton shares will see no price limit today following the corporate declaration.
