The 121st draw of Bangladesh’s Tk100 prize bond will be held today (Sunday, November 2) at 11 a.m. at the office of the Divisional Commissioner in Dhaka.
According to a recent press release from the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance, the draw will be conducted under the single common draw system.
Each series of the Tk100 prize bond offers a total of 46 prizes. The top prize is Tk6 lakh, followed by Tk3.25 lakh for the second prize. Additionally, two prizes of Tk1 lakh each, two of Tk50,000 each, and forty prizes of Tk10,000 each will be awarded.
Only the bonds sold at least 60 days before the draw date are eligible for this round, excluding the day of the draw itself.
Under Section 118 of the Income Tax Act 2023, a 20 percent tax will be deducted at source from the prize money.
Prize bond draws are usually held four times a year—on January 31, April 30, July 31, and October 31. If any of these dates fall on a public holiday, the draw takes place on the next working day.
