National Bank PLC and Mastercard Bangladesh jointly organized an event to honor the top credit card users of the “Mastercard Holiday Campaign 2025” on 10 August 2025. The ceremony was held at the bank’s head office, with Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman of National Bank PLC, attending as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Adil Chowdhury, Managing Director of the bank, presiding over the program.

At the event, top credit card users were presented with awards and certificates of appreciation. The award recipients shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for such initiatives.

In his speech, Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo said, “The relationship between a bank and its customers is not limited to financial transactions; it is a bond built on trust, responsibility, and mutual respect. Today’s recognition is a celebration of that relationship.”

Managing Director Mr. Adil Chowdhury praised Mastercard’s support in enhancing the bank’s customer-centric services and digital banking initiatives.

Mastercard Bangladesh’s Country Manager, Mr. Syed Mohammad Kamal, said, “In Bangladesh, Mastercard began its journey through National Bank cards. To this day, National Bank has been with us. This is a source of both joy and pride for us.”
