Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC held its 401st Board of Directors meeting on 19 November 2025 at the bank’s corporate head office.
The meeting was chaired by A. K. Azad, chairman of the board. According to a press release, the board approved several investment proposals during the session.
Vice-Chairman Mohiuddin Ahmed, along with directors Md Sanaullah Shahid, Abdul Barek, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Md Towhidur Rahman, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Md Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Tahera Faruque, Fakir Mashrikuzzaman, Fakir Maniruzzaman, and Abdul Hakim, attended the meeting.
Independent directors Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Md Reazul Karim were also present, along with Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Company Secretary Md Abul Bashar.
The meeting reviewed the bank’s ongoing activities and discussed future strategic priorities, in addition to approving new investment initiatives.
